A LITTLE DEED

Recently I came across a video where a young boy may be in his 20s passes on little chits with beautiful things written on it to the passersby - irrespective of age, gender, appearance, etc. The chits have notes like: 'your smile is beautiful', 'you look so good', etc.  He does not know everyone personally - it is just a small deed, a deed that brought smiles to the faces of so many people.

People on their way to office, some reading the newspaper by the road, some discussing serious matters, and this small piece of paper with some words scribbled carefully brings the most expensive thing called happiness so easily on the faces of the readers, though may be just for a moment or a day.

It is something that called for appreciation.  Someone with such a golden heart who spent few moments of his day to bring smile on the faces of unknown people. It reminds us that small thoughtful actions can bring happiness in the lives of so many people.

Not all good deeds need money.  There are so many ways in which happiness can be spread.  Today what the world needs the most is compassion, and when that grows happiness will automatically come.  The beautiful thing about compassion is that not only the receiver but the giver also feels immense joy and satisfaction. Let us do our bit too to make this world a happy place.  Be compassionate.  Be considerate.  Be empathetic.
