Prayers
Prayers a very powerful and easy tool to converse and connect with the all-powerful force we call as God. Though we have not been among the lucky ones who could have seen or connected with that power directly, each one of us have experienced the presence of some merciful power out there willing to offer help at times. At times, because what we pray for everytime may not be His plan or more positively there is something better lined up for us and it is just matter of time, and temporarily, our prayers may not be answered.
There has to be a medium through which one can connect to the other - whoever the other may be and in this case the prayer is the medium. It is a conversation with God.
Prayers have come in all forms - silent, loud, peaceful, vibrant, long, short and what not. Whatever the form may be if done sincerely are believed to reach that supernatural protective power always. Now this power is supposedly present everywhere all around us in an invisible form always.
It happens many times I listen to loud prayers with musical instruments to accompany it, some prayers are even louder than that, some prayers accompanied by dances, some called out in solo while others in group, and I keep wondering whether what is required.
That doesn't mean that prayers we have read in the holy books or have been taught by our elders are useless. Of course not, that might be the perfect way to get in touch with that omnipresent power. Perfect words, rhythm, etc to praise the Supremo, but as it is said - 'To Err is Human', our prayers with little errors here and there will also be accepted if done with pure heart.
If I say a prayer in whisper with all the love and devotion, won't my God hear it? Won't my silent prayers be heard? If I don't know the perfect art of prayers with proper lyrics and music and dances, won't it be accepted? If my prayers have errors, will my Almighty not accept it regarding it as an act of his innocent devotee?
And when I think again and again, I get the reply it will be heard. Because what is expected from a devotee is devotion, love and surrender, rest everything is superficial.
Pray in silence, pray in devotion, pray in love and acceptance and He will accept it. Prayers are powerful - they must get their due credit for their ability to connect us to the Power that is more unknown than known.
Take care
